The blackbook is where it always starts...
Our first attempt at creating a cap worthy of our high standards brought us down many treacherous paths: some exciting and some worrisome. No one knew what would happen when those huge waves crushed Japan last Spring. We had created our samples around the time devastation hit much of the eastern hemisphere, and the turmoil they were experiencing was felt by the entire world.
Countless shipments of Asian product were delayed for months, and us having outsourced the construction of these snapbacks had us waiting an extra 60 days in anticipation.
With the sale of this final Silver Grape Snapback we will begin another waiting process.
In the next few days we will be hearing from a local embroiderer upon finishing the first sample of our newest snapback design, which will be stitched on hats made in Florida.
Grape believes in keeping production as local as possible, and we are proud to say that we will constantly search for those businesses assisting American-made fashion.
