NEW MUSIC: Radio B & NameBrand - 5 On 5

Hailing from Virginia's capital, Rayni Day Entertainment's own Radio B first captured our ears at a local show, backed by a dope live band and raw energy. We were so moved that, as he was leaving, we had to immediately thank him... We didn't even realize he was carrying mad equipment while exhausted from his performance. 


We let him bounce, and upon hitting home, we immediately downloaded as much of his music as we could find. Luckily for us his first couple projects were available online for free (download our first Radio B experience, "Disciplined Defiance", HERE), and during extremely long nights in the shop, Radio B was the soundtrack.


We were very fortunate to talk with Radio through Twitter in regards to his latest project, "5 On 5". We received an early copy, threw it in the stereo, and vibed with it... on repeat... for the next couple hours - It's that dope.


Recorded at Studio B in Virginia Beach, the concept behind "5 On 5" is mad dope, too. 
Five  instrumentals brought to you by rap legends, and five original productions created by Virginia-bred beat-monster NameBrand, all laced by Radio, along with some of Richmond's illest emcees. Steady Fam and Millz start off the collaborative tracks bringing straight heat, followed by one of our favorites, Michael Millions, and rounded out by RVA beast Nickelus F.
No track is left unbeaten - the whole of this project touches on many subjects with vivid imagery and word-play, the only way Purple Republic representers roll.


Major shout out to Radio B for allowing us to rock for days with this great production. Shout outs to all the artists involved as well. Do your research and get with the music these people are putting out - it's ALL amazing.
