While we were vending at RVA Music Fest's Hip Hop Hooray event at The Camel last month, a young photographer ventured to our table with an interesting proposition.
He introduced himself as Ryan Dix, a local professional photographer aspiring to capture the feeling of every place he traveled to. He wanted to know if we could give him and his photos some exposure following the show, and we gladly agreed. Ryan then spent the remainder of the evening effectively capturing a ton of Richmond music supporters and Grape-clad show-goers.
Upon seeing the final product a few days later, and after much correspondence, Ryan and Grape came to an understanding that would bring both parties together for the sake of high-quality promotion and support. What followed was Mr. Dix traveling all over the United States, documenting his exploits, all while decked-out in Grape Cloth product.
We here at Grape are proud to announce the union of professional photographer Ryan Dix and ourselves, and look forward to presenting his unique vision to you on a regular basis.
This first set of photos were selected from over a dozen taken at RVA Music Fest's Hip Hop Hooray show last September.
